Think of all the myths and legends associated with sports nowadays. Athletes are getting bigger and stronger, however there are still those fans who do no think that the sports heroes today are even comparable with those of the past. Babe Ruth supposedly, "called his shot" before he hit a home run, the sewers in New York, supposedly, once flooded due to all the toilets being flushed at halftime, comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were the first non-baseball-playing members to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. These are all examples of supposed myths related to sports. You need to find one myth associated with sports (concussions, supplements, athletic accomplishments) and tell the true story behind the tale. This should be posted by Monday October 6th by 6am.

Be sure that your responses are detailed and get to the point. You should begin by telling the original myth, its origin and how the story came to be, then tell the truth behind it and how the story became so well known. This should be a detailed response where you will need textual evidence.
